Tree service trucks line up for giant show of support | Free

Various tree trucks lined up with flags on their booms in a field along the highway. I am near the Hodgson residence on Friday morning to commemorate 35 year old Amanda Hodgson who was beaten and killed from behind on the morning of August 15 when she nearly came home from a jog on the highway. Me, west of Chetek. Her father-in-law owns Jerry’s Tree Service, and her son’s name is also Jerry. She also leaves behind a husband, Britt, and a daughter, Ellie. Where death occurred, half a mile west of the row of trucks, is a growing memorial made of flowers, including those of their own children reading “I Love You Mother” and “Best Mother Ever.”

Participating tree services included Jerry, Peterson, McHenry, Choppers, ACA, Arbor Jack, Backridge, That Tree Guy, and Cross County Clearing.
